Music has infinite potential for a child's development. The Boite offers a range of programs to involve children from a young age in creativity through music. Annually, over a thousand children are active participants in Boite programs.
"It’s really fun because we are learning new songs from another culture and learning some bits of language. We also like meeting other kids. The actions are really fun and give us confidence on stage."

Boite Schools Chorus
The Boite Schools Chorus is an annual, un-auditioned chorus event presented by The Boite. Since 2004 the Boite Schools Chorus has performed in 15 major concerts across Victoria. Each year 800 young voices from upper primary and lower secondary schools and community youth choirs explore music and cultures of the world with their own choir leaders and then combine with singers from across the state in an exhilarating concert for peers, family and friends.
Students, teachers, parents and principals are all enthusiastic about this project because the music presented by our network of musicians is of excellent quality, inspires and entertains students, comes with excellent teacher support, and is organised so that music is learnt by teachers and students, and becomes part of the school culture.

Boite Singers' Festival at Daylesford - Children's Program
The Singers' Festival Children's Program runs throughout the Boite Singers' Festival at Daylesford. It is a fun filled weekend focussing on circus skills and music making, that culminates in a final performance in Daylesford Town Hall.
The Children's Program is led by Anna Brooks, the co-founder of RUCCIS circus arts for children. Anna has a background in teaching and community circus. Anna has worked with Circus Oz, was the manager of Coonara Community Circus and has designed multiple schools programs. This progam engages children in both circus, singing and music-making to build confidence, facilitate friendships, gain new skills and generally have a fabulous time.
