Beloved Abe

Beloved Abe is a Melbourne-based Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter whose soulful, stripped-back sound draws from folk, world and country music. Growing up in the Philippines, she was deeply influenced by her grandfather’s music and the classic Filipino bands she listened to, picking up the guitar at 13. Since moving to Australia, she has developed a sound and songwriting style shaped by her experiences of identity, family, culture and finding home between two worlds. Her music is intimate and honest, weaving personal stories and memories into songs rooted in where she comes from and where she is now.
