Hours: FTE 0.4 (15.2 hours/week)
Remuneration: $53,352 pro rata
Reports to Managing Director
Location: The Boite office | 1 St Heliers St, Abbotsford Convent, Abbotsford VIC

About the job
The Boîte Schools Chorus is an un-auditioned choir project for schools and community youth choirs. Since 2004 the Boîte Schools Chorus has involved over 9000 students from across Victoria in 42 concerts in Melbourne, Frankston, Ballarat, Bairnsdale & Albury. The Boite Schools Chorus project invites students into a new world through song, builds confidence, broadens horizons and develops valuable performance and interpersonal skills.
Working Arrangements
This job can be partly done from home, please note the availability is required on specific rehearsal
and performance dates.
Key Dates
Rehearsals: Melbourne - Sat May 20, Sun May 21, Sat July 29, Sun July 30, Ballarat dates to be confirmed.
Performances: Melbourne CBD - Thu Aug 3, Ballarat - Sat Aug 26.
Responsibilities

Coordinating, managing and monitoring all aspects of The Boite Schools Chorus

Carry out planning tasks in order to allocate adequate resources and develop timelines and schedules

for each project.

Drafting, negotiating and finalising agreements with all the project stakeholders including creatives, participants, partners and volunteers.

Managing project finances including budgeting, income and expenditure monitoring and reporting.

Organising all project logistics, including venues, schedules, communication briefs, travel and accommodation and any other aspect required for the smooth operation of each project.

Maintaining communications with external stakeholder to ensure that the projects are executed adequately, on time and on schedule.

Marketing the project with a view to expand and grow.

Searching for and applying for funding if suitable opportunities arise.

Ensuring that the projects are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.

Assisting the team with planning and production tasks, as required.

Other duties as required.
