CMeza

CMeza is a Colombian-born, Melbourne-based singer, songwriter, drummer and producer whose music brings Latin roots into conversation with funk, soul, R&B and contemporary groove.

Born in Valledupar and raised in Bogotá, CMeza carries the rhythmic identity of Colombia’s Caribbean coast into a sound shaped by years of performing and creating in Melbourne’s multicultural music scene. A drummer at heart, rhythm sits at the centre of his songwriting, blending infectious grooves, soulful melodies, Spanish-language storytelling and the energy of a live band.

His music draws inspiration from artists such as Jamiroquai, Anderson .Paak, D’Angelo, Cultura Profética, Stevie Wonder and Juanes, while developing a sound distinctly his own: Colombian in spirit, global in influence and built for the stage.

In 2026, CMeza released his self-titled EP and celebrated it with ALMA & GROOVE, a full-house launch at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club. His work has received support from Creative Australia, Creative Victoria and Multicultural Arts Victoria.

Performing with a dynamic live band, CMeza delivers a colourful, rhythm-driven show where Latin music, funk and soul meet, inviting audiences not only to listen, but to move.
