SENES Flamenco

SENES Flamenco is a Melbourne-based flamenco ensemble established in 2011 by Aya Kitaoji and Alejandro Florez in Melbourne. It is dedicated to the promotion of the art of Flamenco music, dance and its unique culture. The ensemble aims to inspire cross-cultural understanding through sharing the art of flamenco music and dance.
SENES Flamenco has established a strong artistic presence through performances, media features, partnerships, commissioned works and community‐focused programs.

The ensemble's central ideas are motivated by the freedom for artists to express themselves through dance and music in an authentic, truthful manner in order to engage with audiences through the art of Flamenco.

Working in conjunction with talented artists across diverse genres, it is dedicated to the development of multicultural performing arts and arts education in Australia through performances, lessons and workshops.
