About the Event

Online rehearsals will be held each Saturday afternoon, 3pm to 5pm from February 19th to April 9th, with a gap to for the Labour Day weekend.

We hope to conclude the semester with a weekend retreat near Maldon, COVID permitting. This will be charged separately.

Krys Derwinski, MGC's music director since January 2020 when, at the Cygnet Folk Festival in Tasmania, we had our last public performances before COVID-19 changed the world. He has led four excellent semesters of Georgian song since then, keeping us in touch with the music we love, introducing us to fabulous new songs and keeping the choir together in difficult times. Krys's online singing rehearsals are up there with the best available. Everyone is welcome.

Rehearsal resources will be made avaliable via Dropbox and BandLab.

Rehearsal materials include recordings of each part plus the parts combined and sheet music.
