EXTASY MORRICONE explores the jazz-infused, psychedelic, progressive, and adventurous side of Morricone’s music from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. Through a mesmerising collection of vocal works featuring unexpected lyrics by some of Italy’s finest writers, the concert reveals a lesser-known dimension of the legendary composer, unveiling a rich, cinematic sound world for music lovers and cinephiles alike.
At the heart of the program lies Morricone’s relentless pursuit of originality: music that speaks to universal audiences while remaining daring, sophisticated, and unmistakably personal. EXTASY MORRICONE celebrates that artistic vision and his enduring quest for a unique sound.
