Spanish Language Choir, Sonidos Del Alma is back for 2023. The first series will begin on Wednesday January 25 at St Brigid's Parish, North Fitzroy. Get together in a fun, friendly environment to learn Spanish through song under the direction of Colombian singer-songwriter Iaki Vallejo.

About the Event
Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm Venue: St Brigid's Parish, 378 Nicholson Street (cnr York St), Fitzroy North Dates: Jan 25, Feb 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15 (8 Weeks) The choir sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The choir will specialise in songs from Latin America such as the Mexican bolero Besame mucho, the Colombian cumbia El pescador and the Chilean classic Todo cambia. The repertoire will also include arrangements of Iaki’s own songs with the purpose of creating opportunities to perform together in her shows. Iaki will also teach skills like holding your own part in a harmony.
