Six local choirs are gathering to raise funds for community broadcaster 3CR.
Sue Johnson’s Combined Forces (Living Out Loud, Women Of Love & Fury, Pagan Angels & Trolls) bring raw joy, soul-stirring songs and deep collective groove. Kavisha comes with Lingua Madre, singers exploring the song traditions of Italy, Iaki Vallejo’s Sonidos del Alma (sounds of the soul) sing in Spanish, Gorani men’s ensemble sing the traditional songs of Georgia. Carl Pannuzzo and the Feel Good Choir make us all feel good, and Mixed Drinks directed by Therese Virtue sing songs from everywhere! Tickets $30; $20;
All funds support 3CR and The Boite’s regular program Music Sans Frontieres.
