The Boîte presents Chuei Yoshikawa, Nick Charles & Leigh Sloggett

Three extraordinary guitarists in one show. Visiting from Japan, one of Japan's leading acoustic folk and jazz guitarists, Chuei Yoshikawa (吉川 忠英) will be performing at Mark St Hall with Australian guitarists Nick Charles and Leigh Sloggett. Nick Charles is known internationally as “Australia’s virtuoso of acoustic blues and roots guitar music” and Leigh Sloggett has been playing guitar since the age of 12 with his music crossing the genres of blues, contemporary folk and instrumental. In 2020 we were anticipating Chuei Yoshikawa’s visit from Japan; that became impossible with the lockdowns and border closures caused by Covid 19. And now here we are!
