About the Event

Formed in 2014, SHAYAN plays original music fusing jazz with genres including Iranian Folk, Hip-Hop and Funk.
Melbourne Amplified Strings (MAS) began in 2018 and is a string duo, reinvigorating the use of traditional classical instruments by utilising effects and loop pedals in their original and improvised music.
SHAYAN and MAS will join forces, their new compositions blur the lines between jazz, world and electronic music. Living in the Machine will be performing LIVE for a limited amount of ticket holders and live-streamed for those who want to watch in the comfort of their own home or who could not be with us in Melbourne at this moment in time.
